Hello Fitness lovers!!!

For all you out there, NO I have not quit my challenge! Unfortunatly I did have a very busy week which made it difficult for me to blog but I am back and in full effect.

I am truly enjoying my LES MILLS PUMP journey! I am seeing results and I just all around feel stronger. I am so happy to have decided to incorporate this into my everyday life. It’s amazing the amount of time you find for the things you want to do.

This past week was a busy week. I went to Maryland to go thorugh an AIM 2 training, back home and took on a couple of extra classes this week. Yes, you heard right, among my everyday life, I decided to teach just a little bit…. MORE. Thankfully enough I have learned to listen to my body. That is todays message. To LISTEN to your body.

Our ego’s , our pride and so many other things get in the way and sometimes do not allow us to see the big picture. Our health is the big picture. As a Group Fitness Instructor I learned early on that the body  likes to communicate with us and its up to us to listen or choose to ignore the signs.

When taking on new workouts and/or new projects, its important to know what your limits are and work your way up. It’s always good to start light and see what your range is. Never start off where you wish you could be. This will only hurt you physically along with your pride. :-)

So always remember that the key to health is not just working out and eating right, its also knowing the importance of rest.

For my friends from this past weekends AIM2 module. “Keep it real, and stay with the fight”.
